This program is designed for the General Dentists or GPs who have some basic surgical skills, also for those who have completed the AAID Maxicourses and implant Marathons and are now looking to advance to the next level with patient competencies.

An opportunity to acquire clinical assessment and management skills for TMD and orofacial pain, within the context of graduate education that focuses on the acquisition of research skills and a scientific knowledge base.

Focus of the clinical program is to provide the resident with experience in managing a variety of orofacial pain conditions, focusing on diagnosis and interdisciplinary management.

Participants receive 300 CE Hours
Mentorship provided for adding implant placement in the dental practice
Acquire the skills to surgically place implants, as well as advanced prosthetic techniques
Live-patient demonstrations in clinical operatory
Complete training for Associate Fellow and Fellow AAID credentialing examinations

Receive intensive training in maxillofacial prosthetics to improve your clinical skills and tackle very complex maxillofacial prosthodontic cases. You will gain the knowledge to treat and rehabilitate a multitude of defects, ranging from clefts and other congenital malformations like ectodermal dysplasia, and also expertly manage cancer surgery and radiation related defects.

Completion of this program will greatly enhance the skillset of the participants for decision making and treatment in complex maxillofacial treatments. As a result, participants will increase their chances of being employed by hospitals that serve cancer/trauma/cleft patients, as well as provide private care to this group of patients

This course will help dentists understand the basics of Sleep medicine and philosophies of treatment of Sleep Disorders. We hope that at the end of the course the dentist would have an in-depth knowledge into the basics of sleep medicine, dental sleep medicine and a good understanding of when and how such a treatment modality could be incorporated into Dental Practice.

This course is meant to describe the basics of OFP/ TMJ/ TMD and give the principles of evidence based Diagnosis and Treatment plan for these conditions. At the end of the four packed modules, the participants should have a broad understanding on the principles of diagnosing and treatment planning of different Orofacial Pain conditions and also Obstructive sleep Apnea. Throughout this course we have done our level best to avoid ANY commercial interests, so participants can focus on gaining solid knowledge as opposed to getting “sucked” into commercial bias.
