description : Bio: Dr. Varun Acharya graduated from Saveetha Dental College, Chennai and was adjudged the Best Outgoing Student among his peers. He completed four years of post graduate education in Prosthodontics at the New York University College of Dentistry, New York, where he was a recipient of the Adisman Award for the Most Outstanding Graduating Resident. He went on to pursue a one year fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics & Oral Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He is the only American Board of Prosthodontics certified Maxillofacial Prosthodontist practicing in India and is a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. He is currently engaged in private practice at Acharya Dental, Chennai, and lectures nationally and internationally at various scientific dental conferences.
